Although she was killed at the end of Daredevil, warrior Elektra was brought back by her mentor, Stick and became a trained assassin. Elektra spends her time alone, waiting for her next assignment in a peaceful, murder which happened when Elektra was a little girl.

Elektra befriends Mark Miller (Goran Visnjic) and his daughter Abby (Kirsten Prout) who live next door - the same people who she has been assigned to kill. After bonding with them over a quiet team in order to protect them. She discovers that Mark and Abby are on the run from The Hand, a gang of butt-kicking assassins with evil powers who want Abby, a marital arts prodigy, to them. Risking her own life, Elektra takes them into hiding.
