We review the War of the Dragon Queen expansion for the D&D Miniatures game of fantasy battles!

It's a royal rumble as Tiamat, the queen of the evil massive spiders and both Tiamat and Bahamut! The figs look great and are really powerful, the only problem is that a lot of the huge figs can only be used in big 500-point games, which is a bummer.

D&D Miniatures: War of the Dragon Queen Thumbs Up:

  • Awesome new figs huge and cool looking!
  • Lots of ways to make dragon armies.
  • You can get two rare figs in one box!
  • Terrific commanders for different armies.
  • D&D Miniatures: War of the Dragon Queen Thumbs Down:

  • Costs more than other sets.
  • The strongest figs can't be used in 100-point or 200-point games.
