Radio Contest Tragedy 35g4c
On January 12, 2007, 107.9 The END radio station in Sacremento, California had a "Hold Your Wee for a Wii" contest where people had to drink water every 15 minutes and the last person to pee won a Nintendo Wii. Tragically, one contestant died shortly after the contest. Early reports indicate that she died of water intoxication.Winning a contest is a blast, but always to be careful because your body can only handle so much and some contests can be dangerous. Just ask Survivor contestant Michael Skupin, who eating contests. No prize is worth risking your life.
