We once learned in health class about a condition called S.A.D., which stands for sunlight. I think I may be coming down with a bad case of the S.A.D.
It's dark when I go to school. It's dark when I come home from school. My school has the tiniest windows so it's even dark when I'm at school. Maybe people are hard-wired to in my cave if you need me.
Things are still going well with Vanessa, which I'm stoked about but it's sort of hard to see her because she lives on the other side of town (and I can't seem to find the energy to do much more than Valentines Day isn't that far away so I guess I should start thinking about what to do for that. Honestly, I always feel sort of embarrassed trying to be "romantic". It just feels so cheesy and fake - like I'm in some sort of Jennifer Aniston movie - only without the fat paycheck.
So, how do you cope with the Winter Blues? Or do you get them at all? Maybe you're one of those crazy people I see jogging in the dark and rain all winter (If you are, what's your secret?!). .
