Ratchet’s a furry action hero and his buddy Clank is a tiny little robot with a Sony PSP handheld gaming system. Gary strained his thumbs putting all the fun to the test and here’s the 411 with his video game review!
You control Ratchet and Clank through a bunch of different 3D levels, power-ups to make flattening bad guys a whole bunch easier.
There’s so much good stuff in this game it’s hard to know where to start! There are over a dozen weapons, including the super-cool Agents of Doom (they’re cute, funny and they’ll chew the bad guys’ ankles off!), and you can mini-games to keep things interesting. Plus, there are a bunch of multiplayer game modes and you can even go online to challenge people!
The only thing smaller than this pint-size game is the list of problems. The Skyboarding mini-game is a bit weak and, once every blue moon, the sound shuts down for a couple seconds. Everything else is chocolate-coated gold. Yum!
The deadly duo team up for a seriously awesome dose of video game fun in Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters. It has tons of action packed into a solid story and it includes a heap of PSP, this game is the reason to get one!
