In 1996, four friends from Riverside, California came together to form Alien Ant Farm.Metal band, Alien Ant Farm's unique name came from a daydream. Terry Corso, one day while working a boring office job, daydreamed about humans being cultivated by Papa Roach, and when Papa Roach began getting popular they spread the word about their friends, Alien Ant Farm.

Alien Ant Farm later signed to Papa Roach's New Noize label and released ANThology in 2001. The album contains the cover song of American Pie 2 soundtrack and snagged a spot performing on The Tonight Show. Alien Ant Farm released its newest album, truANT, in 2003.

In 2002, Alien Ant Farm's Tour bus collided with a truck in Spain. Their bus driver died and Dryden Mitchell broke his neck but he has almost fully recovered.
Alien Ant Farm contributed the song Bug Bytes to the Spider-Man soundtrack.
Terry Corso and Mike Cosgrove were both in the band Brother Vibe before they ed Alien Ant Farm.
