Although it's been 100 years since the Chicago Cubs last won the World Series, this was supposed to be the year they were going to compete for the title again. But down, 2-0 to the Cubs will have their chance for redemption as they head to L.A. for Game 3 on Saturday.

The Tennessee Titans and Buffalo Bills have gotten out of the gates fast so far in this early NFL season. Both teams have perfect 4-0 records coming into this weekend's games. Even though the Bills are undefeated, they have really had to really work for their wins. Buffalo trailed coming into the fourth quarter in three out of their first four contests, before coming back and winning. If the Bills beat the Arizona Cardinals this weekend, they will have only their fourth 5-0 start in franchise history. The Titans, on the other hand, are 4-0 because of their great defense. The lead the NFL in turnovers with 12 and also have 15 sacks as a team. On Sunday they look to stay unbeaten as they head to Baltimore to play the Ravens.

Stars last weekend in the Western Conference Finals. The Silver Stars are taking on the reigning WNBA champions the Detroit Shock in the WNBA Finals. As of Friday, the Shock have a 1-0 series lead over the Silver Stars after defeating them 77-69 in Game 1 on Wednesday.

The Philadelphia Phillies have taken a 2-0 series lead over the Milwaukee Brewers in the MLB playoffs.

Last week, 10-year NBA veteran Jason Williams retired from the NBA. One of the flashiest players in league history, Williams played for the Sacramento Kings, Memphis Grizzlies and Miami Heat. He signed over the summer to play for the Los Angeles Clippers but abruptly retired right before training camp.
