Beyonce Knowles isnt the only pop star getting shagadelic with The International Man of Mystery - it could be Bye, Bye, Bye to CD burning and get the scoop on My VH1 Music Awards.
Destiny's Child's Beyonce Knowles stars as Foxy Cleopatra. Oh behave, Austin!
Ever buy a CD and burn an extra copy for your discman or for a friend? Well those days could soon be over. Like Napster, all good things must come to an end. More Fast and Furious, the second soundtrack from last summer's The Fast and the Furious flick, will be the first major-label release with built-in copy-protection technology. That means if you want an extra copy to keep in your mom's car so she doesn't make you listen to Rod Stewart, you will have to buy another copy.
Universal Music Group, the music label behind the release of the More Fast and Furious CD, hopes to have all their new releases copy-protected by fall of 2002. Right now the technology is less than perfect and can even affect the audio quality. It is likely that most of the major labels will jump on the Universal wave and begin copy-protecting their releases too.
