E3 2009 Summary: Nintendo 2m5i3n

Last year, Nintendo disappointed many lifelong fans with a bland and predicatable showing for E3 2008. This year, they promised to bring things to the table that would get everyone excited, old fans and new.


Nintendo Brings Out the Big Ones 6w1z2g

It is safe to say that heart beat read. No games were announced for the periperal, but many assumed that the first to use it would be the new Wii Fit Plus that will be coming out soon.


Aside from Wii Fit Plus, Nintendo went game crazy and focused their E3 efforts on all the amazing games that were coming out for all their systems. Not one, but two new and true Mario RPG for the DS, called Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, where our heroes will be transversing along the innards of King Koopa.


For the DS, there is also Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, a new Golden Sun RPG coming and Style Savvy, a popular girl's game in Japan where you run a Phantom Hourglass, worry no more! This time, they are on your side and you will be able to control where they go by drawing lines with your stylus.


If you have been itching for new BMX Biking, and Archery all have been added.


Finally, for serious Nintendo fans, a sequel to Metroid game for the Wii being worked on by Team Ninja of Ninja Gaiden fame. The new Metroid game will feature first person and third person action and fantastic graphics and voice acting. Nintendo teased that we may finally get to hear the voice of Samus.


Even with all these great announcements, people are still hoping that Nintendo may announce Metroid Prime series, is secretly working on something else and people are dying to know what it is. However, Nintendo did give out some more information after their press conference, including the fact that the Wii and DSi will have new colors, black and red, and that the remake of Pokemon Gold/Silver will come with a pedometer that you can clip on your belt as you walk in real life to help your pokemons in game gain experience.
