Tyra Banks over a pair of heels to make it home in time to see him off. The shoe squabble makes her late for her Lilly’s Sweet Sixteen party and worse still, a paparazzo trails Miley’s limo. She’s forced to show up as Hannah, stealing the spotlight away from Lilly in the process.

Lilly is furious and swears her friendship with Miley is over. Miley’s dad isn’t pleased with his daughter’s behavior either, so when their private jet is booked for New York, he reroutes the plane to Crowley Corners, Tennessee—Miley’s hometown. She has two weeks to get her attitude in line or Miley might as well hang up her blonde wig because Hannah Montana will be no more.

Miley should be walking down the red carpet, but instead she’s driving down dusty roads in the back of a pickup truck. Needless to say, it takes some time before Miley gets back into the country groove. Help comes in the handsome form of Travis Brody, an old childhood friend who shows Miley the ropes—literally! He lassos her horse when he gets away from her and shows her the value of small town life.

That very lifestyle is being threatened by an impending shopping mall. If the town can’t rally enough money to pay off developers, their quiet way of life will be overrun by the same kind of consumerist culture that drove Miley to return home in the first place. The town holds a fundraiser (that features a cameo by Taylor Swift!) and decides that since Miley is such good friends with Hannah Montana (yikes!), she should ask her to do a benefit concert. Miley reluctantly agrees and the town is enthralled.
Unfortunately, Travis asks out Miley for dinner on the same night Hannah is supposed to be dining with the town mayor. Mayham ensues when Miley tries, once again, to have [KWLINK 10555the best of both worlds[/kwlink].
