Now that Halloween is over, you can still get into the make-up products that you thought you couldn’t use again! Makeup is supposed to be fun and experimental so don’t be shy!

If you dressed up as a vampire, Cleopatra or anything else that required bright red lipstick, you’re in luck because you can mix it with creamy lip balm to make a reddish lip stain! Even though bright lips look great on Halloween, a more toned down version of berry colored lips can be achieved by dabbing a bit of the red lipstick on your lips with your finger and then putting clear lipgloss or lip balm over it and rubbing your lips together. You can do this with any bright lipstick to make it look softer for everyday. Bright eyeshadows can be used as a pop of bright eyeliner - green, blue or purple look especially cool! If you get an eyeliner brush from the drugstore, just simply dip it into the eyeshadow and line your upper lashes with the color. Simple and pretty! If you have fake eyelashes that aren’t too out there, you can definitely use them again for a special occasion - it just means you can skip the mascara!
Shimmery powder and dark nail polish is in fashion for nails so you can wear black, midnight blue, deep plum or blood red nail polish all winter long! Even though some of the makeup you used for Halloween may seem a bit bright or daring - there are always ways to modify or tone down bright colors for everyday use - and with the holidays around the corner, it’s just about time to start getting dolled up again for Christmas festivities!
