Nintendo 64 was one of the first successful first-person shooters on the console, thanks to the innovative analog stick controls that is now so common. Fans of the 007 game have been begging for a remake for years and, now that they finally have it, some are afraid that the retro game may not live up to their rose-tinted memories.

Aside from the name of the game and the story, Goldeneye 007 is a completely different game with different maps, level design, and even cast. No longer do you play as the cool Pierce Brosnan. Instead, you are the thuggish Daniel Craig in a stealth/action game.
The game ultimately gives players a taste of the old with lots of spice of the new. Almost every level has multiple paths, meaning lots of replay value in the single player game. The most important part of the Goldeneye experience, multiplayer, is absolutely amazing. You can even play online! The Halo and Call of Duty, Goldeneye 007 will not disappoint. Highly recommended.
