The game pits an all-star roster from Nickelodeon’s Nicktoons series against the best players in the MLB for the MLB season with your chosen team. In Tournament, you can play a bracket tournament with your chosen team settings. In Showdown, you can create a team of MLB All-Stars or make a custom team of Nickelodeon characters.

Batting, Pitching, Catching 6c6w33

Like any pro baseball player, you will need to perfect your pitching, batting and catching skills. First, you will need to select your pitching type: slider, fastball, changeup or curveball. Each pitch has a corresponding button. The amount of time you hold the button determines the pitch’s accuracy.

There are three types of swings to learn: power swing, swing and bunt. After the pitch is thrown, you need to time your swing. The chance of hitting the ball is all based on timing! In addition to batting and pitching, you will need to work on your field skills, working first, second and third base.

Nicktoons MLB 3D for Nintendo DS is similar to the Wii game, but with fewer game options. The only upside is that you can play it away from home. The 3D element also adds a fun twist to the game!
