Ballroom Dancing 101 4m49

Ballroom dancing includes the waltz, foxtrot, tango, salsa, cha cha and other dances from around the world. Many of these dances started as activities for the wealthy in elaborate ballrooms and fancy costumes, but they are now practiced by people of all backgrounds. Ballroom dancing with a partner requires good balance, a sense of rhythm and strong school dances.

Getting Started 4l4do

Many schools are now making ballroom dancing a part of their P.E. program, or see if there's a teacher at your school who's interested in starting a ballroom dancing club. You can also try checking with local dance studios and community centers, who sometimes offer ballroom dancing lessons for youth.
