A hoops coach with an anger management problem coaches a team of middle school misfits in the basketball comedy, Rebound. Find out if this flick is a slam dunk or an airball.
Rebound - Old School Meets Middle School 4n6340
Roy McCormick (played by Martin Lawrence) is a high-strung sick of being embarrassed and becomes determined to lead his squad to a state title. Along the way, Roy bonds with his players and rediscovers his love of basketball.
Rebound - Hopeless Hoopsters 4v2s3h
The best parts of Rebound - and unfortunately there aren't that many - involve the pathetic players on the Smelters basketball team. This team of hopeless hoopsters include Ralph (played by Steven Anthony Lawrence) , who pukes his guts out everytime he steps on the court, Big Mac (Tara Correa McMullen), the toughest girl in the school, and Wes (Steven C. Parker), a tall but uncoordinated nerd, who somehow learns to use his size to his advantage. The occasionally funny antics of this team of underdogs, as they predictably play their way to the state championship game, are the only part of this flick that's worth watching.
Rebound - DVD Features 42282g
There aren't a ton of extras on the Rebound DVD but you are able to check out some cool photo galleries and movie trailers from other flicks like Like Mike 2, Dr. Dolittle 3 and the Sandlot 2!
Rebound - The Bottom Line 6z3118
Rebound is one ugly airball of a movie. While the storyline isn't bad, the jokes aren't really funny and you keep thinking and hoping that the movie will start to get funny - but it never does. This flick is more predictable than a summer movies out there right now for you to spend your money on, so don't bother pulling out your wallet to see Rebound.
