The Bad News Bears is a remake of the 1976 movie and it's just as funny. Billy Bob Thorton is hilarious as coach Morris Buttermaker and the players on the Bears are unique characters you can identify with. The best part of the Bad News Bears is the interaction between the teammates as they go from pretenders to contenders and learn to become a team. There's plenty of kicks to the groin, tasteless jokes and baseball bloopers that'll keep you laughing the entire movie.Bad News Bears - DVD Features 563v3w

The Bad News Bears is definetly good news. This flick is a grand slam comedy. It's packed with funny lines ("You guys are hitting like [kwlink]Helen Keller[/kwlink] at a pinata party"), crude humor, and a good message about the importance of playing as a team and sticking together. If you've ever played umps, Bad News Bears is a funny look at a team's journey from the laughing stock of Little League to a championship contender. While Bad News Bears is one very funny flick, it might not appeal to everyone (if you're easily offended by tasteless jokes, stay away)! There's plenty examples of the kind of nasty language you've probably heard in your own Little League dugout, so you might want to leave your younger sister or brother at home.Bad News Bears Rating: 6lks
