The cards in magic are divided into different types that you can use against your opponent.
- Land - These cards provide you with magical energy called "Mana" to power your other cards.
- Creatures - Ogres and trolls and dragons - oh my! These cards are fierce beasts you can use to battle your enemy.
- Sorceries, Instants and Interrupts - These cards blast your opponent with fire and lightning to cause damage, power-up creatures and unleash other one-shot effects.
- Enchantments and Artifacts - These cards create long-lasting power-ups to boost your creatures and your strategies.
- Equipment - These cards are magical weapons and armor that power-up your creatures and don't go away if your creature gets destroyed.
Lots of Magic cards have strange powers and can change the way the game is played. It's up to you to balance out your cards and make combos to win.

You can storm your opponent with huge creatures, or destroy his land so he can't use cards against you. You can even make a Magic cards with dozens of powers to choose from. You build a deck of the cards you want to use and prepare for battle.
