I am finally back in holiday present!
So I managed to finish up all the little extras for my room. I swear, it looks like a completely different place! I had a few friends over after school yesterday to check it out and everyone was makes quilts or something, so she was really bent out of shape when she found out I'd sewn my curtains and made all those pillows and stuff. Is it wrong that I couldn't help rubbing it in a little?
Now that always complain about the gifts I get them.
I know they don't mean to be so ungrateful but they just always get those, "I have no idea why you would buy me something like this" looks on their scandalous - but she ended up returning them!
For my dad, I burnt him a bunch of mixed CDs of his favorite bands and put them in this cool CD case. Think he appreciated them? No! He whined about how he'd rather just grandparents. And last time I checked, he didn't have any grandkids yet.
I don't know. Maybe I'll just get them gift certificates or something. I'd buy them DVDs but I'm sure they'd just complain that they prefer VHS. Seriously. What are you guys getting your 'rents? Are they hard to buy for too? if you have some!
