Even before he was 10 years old, Kevin was a basketball prodigy - winning numerous national championships with his Maryland AAU summer team. In high school, he starred at Oak Hill Academy, the same Virginia prep school that produced current NBA star Carmelo Anthony. He returned home for his senior year, enrolling at Montrose Christian High School in Rockville, Maryland. During his senior season, the 6'9" forward was named to the 2006 McDonalds All American Team.
