So You Think You Can Dance traveled across Vegas week on So You Think You Can Dance Season 6!
The Dancers’ Fate 45p5c
This week the dancers showed their versatility by performing their solos along with other dance styles. In the first round, all the dancers performed their solos. Each judge gave the dancers a yes or no; at least 3 out of 6 yeses earned them a spot in round two. By the end of the solo round, only 111 dancers remained.
Hip-Hop Round 2c2q2l
The week’s couples performances began with chance. After the Hip-Hop round, 21 dancers were sent home.
Ballroom Round e1i2p
The second couples performance was Ballroom, and this round was a little more dramatic. One contestant was elbowed in the face by his partner during the rehearsal. Fortunately they resumed practicing while other couples were performing and managed to pull it off once they hit the stage. The first crumper to ever make it through to Vegas lucked out by landing with a partner who just happens to be a world companion ballroom dancer.

After bombing the Hip-Hop round, it was time for Ryan Kasprzak to step up his game. Unfortunately, his Ballroom was even worse. Even though he was one spot shy of making the top 20 last season, the judges had to let him go.
